Our modern world can be challenging and confusing, and you may suffer from painful emotions that may feel exhausting and depleting. You may also feel lost and need expert coaching to guide them to meet your goals.

If you are one of these many people, I would be honored to be your guide in creating greater emotional balance and an authentic life of meaning. As a Doctor of Health Science, Psychotherapist, and Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, I have witnessed firsthand the transformational benefits of my unique approach, which is based on evidence-based practices individualized to meet your needs. I provide individual therapy and coaching to help people overcome obstacles and create balanced and meaningful lives.

My Clinical Practice and Professional Background:

I hold a Doctoral Degree in Health Science, Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. As a licensed mental health counselor, my clinical practice is in Miami, Florida, where I see Florida residents virtually. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), DBT Prolonged Exposure, and Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), and also have extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Yoga. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder.

It is my passion to help people live healthy and meaningful lives. My unique approach helps clients to navigate life with greater effectiveness and ease, while also reducing suffering. I use a combination of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and life coaching to help people move towards their goals and learn how to better deal with painful emotions. I view my work with clients as a collaborative endeavor to help support clients in reaching their unique goals.

Online or in-person, this is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. You’ll also learn ways to effective deal with emotions and life challenges. Sessions will focus on a persons individualized needs and goals. Together we will collaborate to create a tailored approach to therapy to meet your needs. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

1) Online DBT Skills and emotional wellness programs called Jones Mindful Living. This program was created to bring life enhancing practices to you in a way that is affordable and accessible, overcoming the obstacles of time, cost, and distance.

2) DBT Skills Group provided for Florida Residents. This is a more structured, intensive, and intimate DBT Skills Training Group. Requires a six month commitment to the course.
